Channeling pointillism, Miró creates a fun image comprised of colorful dots and shapes. Varying from his primary color palette, Miró intersperses purple and sienna hues amidst bright greens, blues, reds, and yellows. His trademark black lines are absent, allowing for the use of muted grays to fade behind the bright colors. Upon closer observation, we realize that these shapes are also comprised of closely applied dots. With its joyful color palette and whimsical imagery, Catalogue of the Exhibition "Cartones" gives off a positive, fun energy, that is sure to fill the space in which it is displayed.
