Created in 1978, Constitución Española 1978 (Spanish Constitution 1978), 1978, is an etching and dry-point on Guarro Casas paper that was one of 41 original engravings printed to accompany a reproduction of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. Hand-signed by Joan Miró (1893 – 1983) in pencil in the lower right, this work is numbered from an edition of 250 in the bottom left and is embossed with a seal in the lower right with the inscription "Constitución Española 1978." It was printed by Joan Barbarà, Barcelona and published by Coleciones Privadas—Arte Contemporáneo, Madrid.
