Frank Stella Moby Dick Domes, 1992

Frank Stella's Moby Dick Domes, 1992 is a series of nine prints, and are from editions of varying sizes. The works were made in collaboration with Kenneth Tyler, with whom Stella created a new process that brought printmaking into a three-dimensional realm. The prints are abstract renderings inspired by Herman Melvilles 1851 novel, Moby Dick.

Between the years 1985 and 1993, Stella produced a vast number of works inspired by Herman Melville's Moby-Dick, including Moby Dick Domes.
