Andy Warhol’s Sunset, 1972 portfolios show off the artist's incredible skill in color theory. Warhol had an impressive eye for captivating color combos. Moving away from naturalistic sunsets, Warhol lets his imagination run wild with unusual colors. Sunset, 1972 FS II.88 features a burning red sun melting into a pink horizon. The skies are bright pinks and reds fading into burnt orange. This is a warm and eye catching color combination.
